A Shaker shed

This frame is real decent! The frame and sub-floor is Juniper and the roof planks are Southern Pine. After many miles and many cities this small timber frame finally made it's way back to San Marcos. Thanks to Ben!!!

All wood-very "green" .

How bout them door straps-heavy duty. They were made by friend and metal worker Kevin Erben.

My first timber frame

Everybody has a first-this is mine. A simple 8'X10' tool shed , cut with hand tools out of local Juniper.

Tools of the Trade

To a timber framer this picture says a lot. The two framing squares facing each other makes the Woodwright logo.

I love repetition.

Traditional Tool bench/ coffee table

Hand made with Hand Tools from reclaimed and local wood. The top surface is Loblolly pine, The legs are White Oak, the ties are Long leaf pine and the trestle is Cedar. Four species of wood make for a nice color palate and One heavy duty bench or coffee table. With extended tenons and compound leg angles puts the frame in compression, so pegs are not needed. It is very stable.

This design was inspired by Japanese tool benches. It is 11"x35"x17".
